How does it work?
We offer two kinds of facial aesthetics in Stockwell: anti-ageing injections and dermal fillers.
Anti-ageing injections work by injecting botulinum toxin type A into wrinkles. This relaxes the muscles, causing the face to look smoother. Treatable areas include:
- Frown lines between the eyebrows.
- Eyebrows.
- Crow’s feet at the side of the eyes.
- Forehead lines.
- Lines around the mouth and top lip.
The treatment takes a maximum of 10 minutes and you will see results within a week. To maintain this look, you will need to top up every three months.
Dermal fillers use a hyaluronic acid gel to add plumpness to the face. The body naturally makes hyaluronic acid but it reduces as we age. The filler gives nature a boost by adding it to areas that need firming up. These include:
- Lips.
- Mouth to chin lines.
- Nose to mouth lines.
- Cheeks
This is also a quick treatment. We give you a local aesthetic to ease any discomfort then the injection itself takes a few minutes. You will see results straight away and the effects will last 6 – 12 months.
